Post 30 giugno: La quinta tappa è l'ultima delle tre che finiscono in Bretagna. Prima, una corsa sulle tortuose strade della Bretagna e poi, una pedalata lungo le ventose strade del Canale della Manica nella seconda metà di questa tappa che misura 165 km. L’arrivo è  nei pressi della punta di Cap Fréhel, una penisola nella Côtes-d'Armor.

Al km 120, il gruppo passerà attraverso Yffiniac, dove il cinque volte vincitore del “Tour de France” e attuale dipendente dell’ ASO, Bernard Hinault, è nato 56 anni fa. Questa tappa dovrebbe concludersi in volata, ma le strade tortuose e il vento potrebbero cambiare la situazione. – Steve (trad. Stefano Amico)
