June 30 post: Stage 5 is the last of three stage finishes in Brittany. Another lumpy course on twisty Brittany roads is in-store before a potentially windy ride along the English Channel in the second half of this 165 km stage. The finish is near the tip of Cap Fréhel, a peninsula in Côtes-d'Armor.

At km 120, the peloton will pass through Yffiniac, where five-time Tour de France winner and current ASO employee, Bernard Hinault was born 56 years ago. This stage should end in a sprint finish, but the twisty roads and wind could change that. — Steve
