Stage 15 preview: Samatan → Pau, 159 km (lumpy)


15 Temmuz güncellemesi: 15. etap, Tour’u daha önce hiç ağırlamamış bir kasabadan, Samatan’dan başlayacak ve 65. ev sahipliğiyle Tour’un en popüler duraklarından biri olan Pau’da sona erecek. Sadece Paris (141) ve Bordeaux (80), Pau’dan daha fazla etap ağırladı.

Pazartesi günkü etapta, normalde sessiz sakin olan düz bir coğrafyayla birlikte Pireneler’in izinden gitmeye devam edeceğiz. 159 kilometrelik bu etabın ikinci yarısında, üç tane kategorize edilmiş mütevazı tırmanış var. Pau’daki finişin son 600 metresi mükemmel düzlükte bir yapıya sahip ve toplu sprint finişi için biçilmiş kaftan. Bir sonraki gün, iki dağ etabının kaldığı Tour’daki ikinci ve son dinlenme günü. Bu yüzden de sprinter takımlar çok ciddi bir hesap kitap hatası yapmazsa, 15. etapta başarılı bir kaçış izlememize imkân yok. - İbrahim Koçyiğit
