September 9 post: Stage 20 is the last stage before a cereomonial flat stage in Madrid on Sunday and it is has a fair amount climbing. But unfortunately for Chris Froome (Sky), the category 3, one cat 2 and two category 1 climbs all take place in the first 2/3 of the stage. Any advantage over the category 1 Puerto de Urkiola climb, which crests almost 50 km from the finish, will be tough to maintain if you're one of the GC favorites.

The finish in Vitoria is the second of two stage finishes in the Basque Country and Euskaltel-Euskadi will be looking to make it two for two in the two biggest Basque cities. — Steve

Km 133, Puerto de Urkiola 5.5 km @ 9.2% (Cat 1), max 11%.
