Etappe 3 started im Hinterland des Industriortes Petrer bevor es in sued-westlicher Richtung durch die Betische Kordillere geht inklusive zweier Anstiege der dritten Kategorie im zweiten Teil des Tages. Ziel is in Totana, ein mittelgrosser Wuestenort in der Region Murcia. Die letzten Kilometer sind flach, jedoch befindet sich der letzte Anstieg nur 13km vor dem Ziel. Es darf also mit einem Sprint einer Aussreissergruppe gerechnet werden. -- Sebes
