Stunning. Tadej POGAČAR (SLO/UAE TEAM EMIRATES) may be too young (22 yrs old this Monday) to know what he accomplished.share this photo

A stage like this is a bad time to break out a new helmet especially one that looks two sizes too small; Primož ROGLIČ (SLO/JUMBO - VISMA) didn't earn any style points todayshare this photo

Primož ROGLIČ (SLO/JUMBO - VISMA) looking a little delerious post Stage 20. He was still 5th today and in many Tours this would be the winner's look of disbelief.share this photo

Tadej POGAČAR (SLO/UAE TEAM EMIRATES)share this photo
Your new race leader and soon to be overall winner at the 2020 Tour de France, Tadej POGAČAR (SLO/UAE TEAM EMIRATES) by 59s... a name we'll hear for a long time. “I’m dreaming. I am very proud of this jersey that repays all the efforts made by the team up to this last phenomenal push to put me in yellow. I dreamed of winning this Tour since I was a boy and now it has come true.<>p/I must say that the credit is not only mine, but of all the members of UAE Team Emirates and the sponsors who support us. We had come here to the TT for a reconnaissance, so I knew what we were going to do and I knew where to accelerate and where to manage the effort: today I only had to think about pushing hard from start to finish.

During the time trial I felt that I was going strong and this spurred me even more.

My dream as a cyclist was to participate in the Tour de France, winning it definitely goes further”

For the first time in a long time, the best rider is also the winner of mountains classification. Tadej POGAČAR (SLO/UAE TEAM EMIRATES) also the best young rider. The first time a rider has finished with three of the leaders' jersey since Eddy Merckx did it in 1969.share this photo

Primož ROGLIČ (SLO/JUMBO - VISMA) quickly put his shocking loss into perspectiveshare this photo
Who cares... it is just a bike race. Looks like the healing process has already started, but with so many good young riders in the peloton, will the 30 year-old Primož ROGLIČ (SLO/JUMBO - VISMA) ever have a better chance of the winning the Tour de France? Probably not.share this photo
