A contrast of form: In one of their final battles, Alberto CONTADOR (TREK - SEGAFREDO) wasn't able to drop Chris FROOME (SKY) on Stage 18. Contador successfully attacked two days later on Angliru, providing a storytale stage win ending to his career while Froome wrapped up the overall.
