NBC Sports Gold’s coverage begins with Stage 1 this Sunday, June 4, live at 7:35 a.m. ET, with encore coverage of Stage 1 on Monday, June 5, at 2 a.m. ET on NBCSN. Coverage on NBCSN will be available on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app. Just three weeks separate the Critérium du Dauphiné, which begins in France’s Loire Valley, and the Tour de France (July 1-23), and the race will feature several Tour de France hopefuls. Top contenders include defending Critérium du Dauphiné and Tour de France champion Chris Froome (Team Sky); two-time Tour de France winner Alberto Contador (Trek-Segafredo); and two-time Paris-Nice winner Richie Porte (BMC Racing). They’ll be joined by American Andrew Talansky (Cannondale Pro Cycling), who won the race in 2014.
