April 28 update: Mountain stage with an ascent to Elmali (1850m el) for the third year in a row. Compared by race director Abdurrahman Açikalin to Alpe d’Huez back in 2012. The final climb gains 700m in 12 km for an average gain of 5.8% with some very steep sections including the finish (see photo above) which is 16%. — Steve
