Vincenzo NIBALI (ASTANA PRO TEAM) crossed 16th near the end of the lead (in the same time as the winner) and you can see there is a gap between the 21st and 22nd riders. Race leader Chris HORNER (RADIOSHACK LEOPARD) was 26th and was thus gapped resulting in a 6s difference to the lead group. Since Horner only led by 3s at the start of the day, he lost the race lead after filing an unsuccessful appeal.		share this photo
