Stage 4:  St-Benoît-Labre, 20 km  Full Results and Report


1st 24 year-old Joseph ROSSKOPF (HINCAPIE SPORTSWEAR DEVELOPMENT) from Athens, Georgia in 26:30 over the 20 km out and back course with a 150m climb at the halfway point

2nd Nathan BROWN (BONTRAGER) in the same time as the winner and now just 3s off the overall lead

2010 overall and tt winner, Benjamin DAY (UNITEDHEALTHCARE) was third + 1s

4th Philip DEIGNAN (UNITEDHEALTHCARE) + 12s

The final stage around St-Georges, base camp for this race, featured 10 laps of a hilly circuit for a total of 107 km

The 5 Hr Energy chase has run out of gas

Today's stage featured a flurry of activity

Race leader, Francesco Mancebo came within 20s of bridging up the winning break but fell back into the chase group by the finish and crossed 17th + 1:26. Ben Day (UHC) was on his wheel the whole time.

Matt Cooke lost out today too. He slipped from 3rd to 5th on GC.

Wipe out on the corkscrew descent...

Sitting 4th wheel into the final turn, Kirk Carlsen slips on the newly wet road as light rain started

Diego Milan JIMENEZ (INTEJA, DOMINICAN CYCLING) won from a successful break that changed the GC podium on the final day. 2nd Luis Romero AMARAN (JAMIS HAGENS BERMAN) and 3 Lucas EUSER (UNITEDHEALTHCARE). 8th, a few seconds in the distance, was Nathan BROWN (BONTRAGER) who won the GC on the final day. Francisco Mancebo dropped from first to fourth.
