Stage 2:  Friday recon  Full Results and Report

There are 27 marked sectors of cobblestones along the 254 km route. Each sector has a marker like this and the length of the cobblestone section. For 2013, this there are 52.6 km of cobblestones.	On to the forest of Arenberg, one of the most famous sectors	The Arenberg sector is one of most difficult and feared sectors of cobblestones. It's 2.4 km long, 100 km from the finish.

Stage 3:  Race action, 254 km  Full Results and Report

The start scene in Compiègne under clear skies	Sylvain Chavanel and the peloton at Troisvilles a Inchy, the first of 27 cobblestone sectors (52.6 km in total) 100 km into the race	Fabian Cancellara (RadioShack Leopard) at the Quievy a Saint sector 107 km into the race

Less than a minute later, the peloton entering the forest of Arenberg	Taylor Phinney (BMC) putting in a dig off the front of the peloton. He finished 23rd + 3:13.	Europcar's Damien Gaudin attacking off the peloton attempting to bridge up to the break at the Orchies sector with 60 km to go. He was the top French rider finishing 5th + 31s.
The chase group on the Orchies sector	After Fabian Cancellara bridged up to Sep Vanmarcke (Blanco Pro Cycling), with Zdenek Stybar (Omega Pharma - Quick-Step) in-tow and about 20 km to go, we had the decisive move of the day	15 km to go: This photo was taken a second or two after Zdenek Stybar (Omega Pharma - Quick-Step) was clipped by a spectator who was leaning in too far over the course. While Stybar attempts to keep his balance, you can see the foot of the spectator as he falls back into the crowd.
