Wondering why local boy and 2010 Volta a Catalunya winner, Joaquim Rodríguez, isn't racing here for the 2nd year in a row? @mrconde tweeted that "Purito got new cycling shoes during Tirreno, won the following stage but is now injuried in the Achilles tendon because of the new shoes." Too bad because this year's course and lack of TT suits him. |
