The Down Under Classic, the Tour Down Under warm-up crit, starts Sunday local time 19:00 ACDT - 20:00 ACDT. Race time (ACDT) is 10.5 hours ahead of UTC/GMT and 15.5 hours ahead of U.S. east coast time. So, the race starts and finishes early Sunday morning at 03:30-4:30 EST in the U.S. Highlights and big photos following the Down Under Classic and every stage next week. January 20 update: In 2012, the Santos Tour Down Under will be broadcast (mostly highlights) across the globe. Australian viewers will have access to Channel Nine's Wide World of Sports which will have the most extensive coverage. Hosted by Andrew Voss, the Nine Network coverage will present extensive daily highlights and broadcast the final two stages live.
