“We said right from the start that Tirreno-Adriatico was one of the team’s first big goals and one of my first big goals. It’s a perfect start. It’s incredible to win our first team time trial together,” Matt Goss said during the winner’s press conference. “My form is pretty similar to last year. At Milan-Sanremo I was at the end of a peak of form. This year I hope to be in slightly better form. However winning now is important for my moral and the moral of the team.” | share this photo |
