Stage 0:  2012 Route Presentation  Full Results and Report

It's always good fun each year to see what fashionable Stefano Garzelli wears to the Giro route presentation

Although he says he's not racing the Giro next year, 2011 Giro d'Italia winner, Alberto Contador was on hand pictured here with Milano mayor, Giuliano Pisapia.

Every Italian has their opinion of good fashion. Ivan Basso looks like a valet parking attendant who just got off the late shift. That's Paolo Bettini on the left.

The usual mix of confusion and stunned expressions which a Giro route can evoke. The easier 2012 route should please Mark Cavendish the most. Ivan Basso will decide later.
