Peter Sagan (Liquigas-Cannondale) opening his jacket this morning in Zottegem to reveal his leader's jersey; however, he sat up prior to today's finish and didn't contest the sprint. He says he's here just for prep before this weekend's Tour of Flanders classic.

André Greipel (Lotto Belisol) was expected to be a factor in today's finish. He would end up 5th.

Your stage 3a winner, the Norwegian national RR champ, Alexander Kristoff (Katusha)

Not known as a time-trialist Alexander Kristoff (Katusha), it's expected that in a few hours, a new and final overall winner will be declared after the Stage 3b ITT

The Stage 3b ITT was won by Sylvain CHAVANEL (Omega Pharma-QuickStep); 14.7 km in 17:49

Like last year, Lieuwe Westra (Vacansoleil-DCM) was second in the ITT (+ 0:04) for second overall

Canadian TT champ Svein Tuft (GreenEDGE) put in a good time for third + 0:17 giving him 4th overall

5th Maciej Bodnar (Liquigas-Cannondale) + 0:19 which gave the Polish rider the final podium spot (3rd overall)

Alexander Kristoff (Katusha) was the race leader prior to the ITT. He finished 34th + 1:15 which dropped him down to 12th + 1:03 in the final general classification.

As is often the case at this event, your Stage 3b ITT winner is also the overall winner, Sylvain CHAVANEL (Omega Pharma-QuickStep)
