Live on Friday The Teams Presentation at 17:40 CET
May 6 update: Just before 6 PM CET, riders and staff will gather at Piazza Carignano and march through the city centre in Torino (Turin) to Piazza Castello and Palazzo Madama where they will meet the Italian Minister of Defence Ignazio La Russa and receive a dedication from the Frecce Tricolori air show patrol. The Italian national anthem will then be played and the 23 teams at the Giro d’Italia will be presented.
The whole event will be broadcast live on the Italian national channel Rai Tre from 5:40 PM CET (11:40 AM ET), while a recap of the 2010 Giro d’Italia will be broadcast at 4:30 PM CET on Rai Sport 1. There should be a live unrestricted link and we'll post it when it's available. — Steve
