Enrico Gasparotto was the best sprinter in the group so he remained calm when the climbers caught him before the flat finish. Calm, that is, until he knew he had it won.		share this photo
After going winless in 2009, Gasparotto (and his teammate Maxim Iglinskiy) celebrate the end of his drought. Garzelli and Evans narrowly missed out on the win, but they moved up to 2nd and 4th on GC today and gained time on the race leader.		share this photo
That was a bloody dangerous descent Jose Serpa would tell you if he spoke English. The road was damp from melt water with gravel in spots.		share this photo
More of a concern was the status of Serpa's Androni Giocattoli teammate and race leader, Michele Scarponi who crashed right behind him. "It seems that nothing is broken," Scarponi told Tuttobiciweb. "But with the persistent pain, the doctor decided to have it [scaphoid] examined [x-rayed]."		share this photo
