May 21 update: Stage 13 is similar to yesterday's stage 12. The stage starts out flat heading north along the Adriatic Coast before heading inland for some hills in the latter half of the stage. However, the finishing hills are tougher; there are two cat 2 climbs. The stage ends with a 25 km gradual descent back to the coast for the finish in Cesenatico, which like yesterday is dead-flat for the final kms. Cesenatico is the birthplace of the late climbing great Marco Pantani. 30% chance of rain today.
