  Full Results and Report

Fumiyuki Beppu (Skil-Shimano) and Christophe Moreau (Agritubel) left the peloton at km 8. Moreau stayed away until km 172, just 24 km from the finish

It looks like last year's winner, Kim Kirchen of Team Columbia, is the butt of a joke. Kirchen didn't have good form today after making his return to racing from a broken collarbone suffered at the Tour of California in Feb. His name is missing from the results and list of non-finishers.

The peloton takes one of two passes at Mur de Huy at km 65 and 95 before finishing on it at km 202

Enrico Gasparotto's (Lampre-NGC) move on Cote de Ahin just 8 km from the finish is marked by the eventual winner's teammate, Michele Scarponi, with Alexandre Botcharov (Katusha) tagging along

Davide Rebellin timed his climber's sprint finish perfectly while others jumped early and blew up. Andy Schleck paced himself well and finished 2nd.

Davide Rebellin wins Fleche Wallonne for the third time in his career. This year might be his last; he turns 38 years old in August.

Damiano Cunego obviously gave it his best shot and rounded out the podium. Behind him, Samuel Sanchez claims 4th ahead of Cadel Evans whose early jump fizzled out.

The Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni-Androni Giocattoli etc. team boss points out a photo opportunity to his winner.

Podium (L-to-R): 2nd Andy Schleck (Lux) Team Saxo Bank, 1st Davide Rebellin (Ita) Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni-Androni Giocattoli, 3rd Damiano Cunego (Ita) Lampre - N.G.C.
